Cuttlefish stewed

Good morning 💚❤️ food lovers! Today I’ll show you my version of cuttlefish stewed. 

Ingredients for 2 people

  • 500 gr cuttlefish clean 
  • 2 small shallots minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic squeezed 
  • 2 sprigs of parsley minced 
  • 12 olives 
  • 20 gr capers 
  • 1 glass white wine 
  • Extra virgin olive oil 
  • 1 tomato can

Method

  • In a large saucepan put 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and all the garlic, parsley, shallots, olives and capers.
  • Let them fry gently and quickly and then add the cuttlefish cut into strips. Cook for 3 minutes then add the wine and let it evaporate.
  • Then add the tomato can and cover with a lid. Cook for about 30/40 minutes. 
  • Taste the cuttlefish and if seems unsalted then add a little salt. For me was perfect and I didn’t add. It’s ready! Serve with toasted bread.
