Let’s Ragù baby!

Good morning 💚❤! Today I’ll show you my Ragù. This is a sauce very simple to do and super yummy that you can use with a fresh pasta 🍝 or fresh gnocchi or, like me, to filling Sicilian Arancini! The recipe that I write is for sauce for almost 12 people… when is too much u can use a tapperware and freeze.

For the Ragù u need : 300gr ground beef, 300 gr ground pork , 1 large 🥕 carrot, 1 large onion , 1 celery, 2 (400gr) jar of tomatoes 🍅 (I used Cirio la finissima Cirio Passione Verace @ciriouk ) , 200 ml red 🍷 wine, pinch of salt 🧂 and pepper. Heat oil in a large heavy pot over medium-high heat. Add onions, celery, and carrots ( finely chopped) Sauté until soft, 8-10 minutes. Add beef and pork, sauté, breaking up with the back of a spoon, until browned, about 15 minutes. Add wine; boil 1 minute, stirring often and scraping up browned bits. Add the 2 jar of tomatoes and stir to blend. Reduce heat to very low and gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until flavors meld, 3 hours. Season with salt and pepper. Buon appetito!
